Important to know

Buying a wooden dining table is an investment, and it requires proper care and maintenance to keep it looking its best. Before purchasing a wooden table, it's important to consider the conditions in which it will be used and stored, and to make sure you understand the proper steps for cleaning, polishing, and protecting the wood. It's also a good idea to familiarise yourself with the recommended guidelines for storing wooden furniture, such as avoiding exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity levels, and also any areas with direct sunlight, and taking steps to protect the table from spills and scratches. en By taking these steps, you can ensure that your wood dining table will provide you with many years of enjoyment and use. Disclaimer: Our dining tables are designed and built for the purpose of dining only. While our tables are robust and well-constructed, they are not intended to support the weight of a person. Leaning heavily on the table, sitting, standing, or jumping on it could cause damage to the table and potentially lead to injury. Misuse of the table in these ways is not only potentially hazardous but also likely to invalidate any warranty or guarantee associated with the product. By using the table, you agree to use it in the manner for which it is intended and acknowledge that failure to do so can result in damage and potential personal injury. Please ensure that all individuals using the table are aware of these guidelines. Additionally, with natural wood products, some naturally forming elements such as knots, splits, etc. may be present, as well as a slight variation in tone due to the natural properties of the wood.

Choose finish

Wood veneer refers to thin slices of real wood. To produce our tables we use veneer 1.6 mm thick slices. Veneer is cut from a log or block of wood using a slicing or peeling process, and can be used to cover a variety of surfaces such as furniture, cabinets, and decorative panels. Veneer is often preferred over solid wood for its flexibility, cost-effectiveness, and environmentally sustainable nature, as it allows for the use of less timber while still maintaining the appearance and feel of real wood.

Solid wood refers to wood that is made from a single, solid piece of timber. Unlike engineered wood, which is made from layers of wood or other materials, solid wood is cut directly from a tree trunk and can be shaped and finished in a variety of ways. Solid wood is valued for its natural beauty, durability, and strength, and is often used for furniture, flooring, and structural purposes. It can be made from a variety of tree species and can be finished with a range of stains, paints, or varnishes to enhance its appearance and protect it from damage.
